Actually every day is National Punch a Nazi Day*, but I’m feeling particularly festive this evening. So I’m going to rewatch Inglourious Basterds again to celebrate.

Donny Donowitz swinging that Louisville Slugger never gets old. Tarantino understood the assignment: sometimes you don’t want nuance, you want a Boston Jew beating a Nazi officer to death with a baseball bat while we all laugh our asses off.

Always a classic.

*Remember to only punch Nazis metaphorically, because aggravated assault is illegal.
